Tips for Learning to Code with ADHD

Hey everyone! I'm starting my journey into coding and want to get some advice on how to stick with it, especially since I have ADHD. Every year I dive into learning, but I struggle to maintain my focus. I'm planning to start with HTML and CSS, move on to JavaScript, then Lua, and later C#. I know the basics—I can code a 'Hello World' in several languages—but keeping up the practice is tough. How have you all managed to learn coding effectively? Do you prefer watching videos, reading books, or maybe playing coding mini-games?

Honestly, I think coding is great for people with ADHD because it allows you to juggle multiple projects at once. If you get bored, you can just switch to something else! It helps you become proficient in many areas and figure out what you really enjoy.

Absolutely! As someone with ADHD too, I totally get it. I often find myself starting and deleting projects after hours of work. It's all about keeping things fresh!
