I'm working on my first PC build and I've been struggling for a while to get my heatsink properly aligned. I've tried reseating everything and it's just not cooperating. Any advice on how to ensure it's aligned correctly? I want to make sure it's mounted properly for optimal performance.

A good trick is to barely get the thread started on one side, then push down on the other screw while tightening it. Just remember the springs are stiff, so don’t hesitate to use a bit of force to get it snug.
To get your heatsink aligned, try using both springs and thumbscrews. You can apply pressure on both sides while threading them in at the same time. Another method is to hold the cooler down with one hand and use a screwdriver to alternate tightening each side. Start by threading 4-5mm then switch sides and repeat until it's secured.
