Trouble Booting Windows Installer After Hardware Upgrades

I've been struggling for two days with this problem, and I'm really at my wit's end. After replacing a bunch of my PC hardware, including the CPU, cooler, and GPU, my system refuses to boot into the Windows 11 USB installer. Here's the breakdown: My old setup had a Ryzen 7 3700X and an RX 5700 XT, but I've upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5800XT and an RTX 5070 with a new Corsair Nautilus 360 AIO cooler and some new fans. Now, when I try to boot, the BIOS detects my USB installer, but UEFI just hangs on the ASRock logo, while Legacy mode shows the Windows logo without any progress. I've done several troubleshooting steps like clearing the CMOS, re-seating components, and verifying the USB is bootable, but I'm still stuck. I noticed A6 and A9 debug codes, which might indicate USB detection issues or GPU initialization failures. Has anyone faced this issue with the X570 Taichi motherboard? What BIOS settings should I check or adjust? Could the lack of USB 2.0 ports be a factor? Am I facing a motherboard failure or is it just a compatibility issue with UEFI? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

First things first—make sure your BIOS is updated. The Ryzen 7 5800XT may require a newer BIOS version to properly recognize the new hardware. If you're still on the older version (P3.20, as you mentioned), it might not support the 5800XT optimally.

That's a good point! I had a similar issue with my Ryzen upgrade, and updating the BIOS made all the difference. If you haven't tried it yet, give that a go.

Also, it’s worth checking if CSM (Compatibility Support Module) is enabled. Sometimes toggling this setting can help with USB booting issues on newer systems. Additionally, ensure your boot order is set correctly to prioritize the USB drive.

Thanks for the tips! I’ll check that CSM setting and the boot order next. Hopefully, that does the trick.
