I'm having a tough time connecting my 8-pin CPU power cable. It used to be attached, but now it's come apart and I can't get it to click back together. I'm even considering getting a new power supply because of this issue. Any suggestions?

It's crucial to have all the wires fully connected! Check to see if any pins are bent or stuck, that could be causing the problem.

Good call! I'll double-check that.

Also, don't forget to check the connectors. Mixing them up can lead to issues.

Try connecting the smaller part of the cable first, then push in the larger section. It might make it easier to seat them properly.

I'll give that a shot! I'm just worried about damaging it if I push too hard.

Don't worry, just be gentle. It should fit without too much force!

Make sure you're using the correct connector type. For example, a PCIe 6+2 won't fit into an EPS 4+4 slot. Check again if it's the right one.

It is the right one—it's a 4+4. I was able to snap some parts together, but getting all of them to stay clicked is the tricky part.

If it's designed to snap on, make sure it's not getting caught on anything when you try to reconnect it.
