I just bought a Cyberpower PC from Best Buy, and I'm having a really tough time with it. After going through the setup, the PC began to update but nothing appeared on my monitor. It stayed like this for about an hour. I tried to turn it off, but the power and restart buttons weren't responding! Eventually, I switched off the PSU, and when I powered it back on, it showed a Windows updating screen at 98%. But when it reached 100%, the screen went black again and said 'no signal' even though the fans were still running. I'm at a loss for what to do now. Best Buy offered to have Geek Squad help for $170, but that's a lot!

Make sure all the components, like your video card, are securely connected. Sometimes they can get loose during shipping. Also, try checking different HDMI ports on your graphics card and motherboard. If things are still funky, creating a USB for Windows installation is a solid last resort.
Honestly, I'd take it back for a refund right now. You might not end up being satisfied with it. If you can, just return it and get something that works without hassle.
It’s really frustrating that they want to charge you for a faulty product. If it were me, I'd return it and look for a different model. But if you want to try and fix it, start by reinstalling Windows with a bootable USB. Just remember to connect it directly to the wall socket to rule out any power strip issues.
I would avoid Best Buy and their Geek Squad service for these issues. It's not worth the stress when you can easily get a refund within their policies.
