Trouble Starting New PC Build with ROG STRIX X670E-E and Ryzen 7 9800X3D

Hey everyone, I just finished building my new PC, but unfortunately, it won't start up. The motherboard is showing a code 00. While the RGB lights and fans are on, including the GPU fans, I'm concerned that the CPU might not be recognized or could be faulty since it feels cold to the touch. Here's what I've got: ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, and an ASUS TUF 1000W Gold PSU. I've heard there may be compatibility issues with this motherboard and CPU, but I triple-checked the BIOS update, and the error code hasn't changed. I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on what could be wrong or how to get this working. Thanks a lot!

First things first, did you connect the CPU power cable? Depending on your motherboard, it could be either a 4 or 8 pin connection. Sometimes it's easy to overlook that!

Yeah, I plugged in the 8-pin cable and even switched it out to rule out any cable issues.

Have you confirmed that you updated the BIOS correctly? Also, it's a good idea to test your RAM by trying one stick at a time in different slots, just to eliminate any potential memory issues. You do have RAM installed, right?

I didn’t check that initially, but I did try one stick at a time in different slots now, no luck though.
