I recently had to swap out my 360mm AiO Liquid Cooler because I thought my first one was defective, but I'm still facing the same issue: my CPU is running way too hot. This is a brand new computer setup and I'm feeling stuck. I have an ASRock B360M RS Pro WiFi motherboard, which suggests that I should connect the cooler to the Fan2 header. However, it came pre-installed in Fan1. Could this be causing the overheating? Should I switch it over to Fan2 since it's a liquid cooler?

Definitely test it out plugged into Fan2 and see how the temperatures respond. Sometimes it's just a matter of connecting it to the designated headers to get the cooling working properly.
You’ll want to make sure the pump from your cooler is connected to the correct header. It should either be on the 'CPUFAN' or 'AIOPMP' header for optimal performance. The fans themselves can be plugged into 'CPUFAN' if available, or just use regular case fan headers. Sounds like it might be worth checking if the pump is in the right spot before anything else.
