Trouble with Gaming Performance on My New HP Victus

Hey everyone! I just got an HP Victus laptop featuring an i5 processor and a GeForce RTX GPU, but I'm running into issues with game performance. I've tried playing FIFA and F1, but both games are giving me low FPS and the experience isn't smooth at all. I know the hardware should handle these games fine, but I'm not sure how to adjust the settings for better performance. I've fiddled with various graphic settings without much luck since I'm not super experienced with this kind of thing. Can anyone share tips or optimal settings for improving performance with a similar setup? Thanks a bunch!

First off, double-check that you're running the games using the dedicated GPU rather than the integrated one that comes with your CPU. This is a common issue and can cause low FPS problems. You can do this by right-clicking on the game executable or using your NVIDIA Control Panel to set the preferred graphics processor to your RTX.

I'm not exactly sure how to check that. Could you give me a step-by-step on how to do it? I want to make sure I'm doing it right.
