Trouble with my Computer – Possible Hardware Issues?

Hey everyone! I powered on my PC today and ran into some problems. I've tested everything from brand new cables to updating drivers, and I've confirmed that the issue isn't with my monitors. It seems to point to a problem with the PC itself. I'm starting to suspect it could be a hardware issue, and I might need to buy a new GPU and CPU. I also keep getting error code 43, which might be important for you to know. I'd really appreciate any advice or help you can offer! Here's a link to a picture of my screen: https://imgur.com/a/8Ade2wK. Here are my specs: NZXT H510, DEEPCOOL GAMMAX GTE V2, NZXT N7 Z490 (Wi-Fi), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 - MSI VENTUS 6G OC, Intel Core i5-10400 6-Core 2.9GHz, EVGA SuperNOVA 850W G5 Gold, Team T-FORCE Delta RGB 16GB, WD Blue 3D NAND 250GB, and Samsung 970 EVO Plus 250GB. Thanks in advance!

Was the GPU showing the code 43? It really sounds like it’s nearing the end of its life to me.

Yeah, the GPU does have error code 43.

Just to clarify, when you log in, are those weird lines still showing up? Sometimes Windows causes these kinds of glitches, but they can disappear once you’re fully logged in.

Unfortunately, yes. The lines are still there and more keep popping up.

It really looks like your video card might be failing. Try pulling it out and see if your PC can run properly on the integrated graphics instead, assuming your CPU has that feature.

I gave that a shot, and it actually runs fine without the GPU.

Error code 43 usually means there’s a driver issue since the device is reporting a hardware malfunction. It’s likely that your GPU is done for.
