I'm having a problem with the keypad on my brand new Nokia 110. The D-pad only registers presses after I push it to the right. Once I do that, it works for a little while, but then the issue returns. Could this be a hardware issue or something else?

If your Nokia 110 is really brand new, I'd suggest reaching out to the manufacturer for a replacement. This type of issue usually indicates a hardware malfunction and isn't something you can easily fix yourself.
It might complicate things if you got it as a Christmas gift and it was purchased on eBay. If the original seller sourced them in bulk, contacting the manufacturer might not work. It's also possible that the keypad malfunction happened after some pressure was applied when you sat on it. Trying to push the D-pad from the side might help temporarily, but it sounds like a hardware issue.
