I'm having a frustrating issue with my Xbox controller; it isn't being detected by anything except Windows settings. I checked the Xbox Accessories app, but it only recognizes the controller briefly before it disappears. The weird part is it was working perfectly fine last week. This issue seems to happen only when there's a battery pack installed in the controller. I've tried unplugging the cable multiple times, using other cables, and trying different USB ports. I even recorded a video of the problem, but unfortunately, I can't share it here since media uploads aren't allowed. Any advice would be really helpful!

First, try unplugging your controller completely to ensure it’s fully off. Then, go to your Device Manager, find your Xbox controller, and completely uninstall the driver. After that, restart your computer and plug the controller back in; this should prompt Windows to reinstall the driver. Let me know if that helps!

That sounds a bit complex! How exactly do I uninstall a driver? I see an 'XINPUT Default Windows driver' listed.
