Troubleshooting DDR5 RAM Frequency Issues on My New PC

Hey everyone! I recently built a new PC with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and installed Corsair VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 RAM, running at 6400MHz (32GB total, 2x16GB, CL36) along with an Nvidia 5070ti. However, I noticed that my RAM's default frequency is set to 4800MHz. When I try to activate the XMP profile, my PC just gets stuck on Boot Failure Detected. I tried lowering the frequency to get it to work, but only 4800MHz lets it boot successfully. I'm not sure what the problem is. Any advice?

It sounds like you're running into a common issue. AM5 motherboards often don’t play well with four sticks of RAM. It’s a good idea to do some research on RAM compatibility before buying extra modules. Because you're using two sets of 32GB sticks, that might be causing your boot issues. Consider using just two sticks at the higher frequency for stable operation.

Thanks for the tip! I really didn’t know much about it—just thought that 64GB would be better, haha! What do you suggest I do now?
