I've been using my Ethernet connection without any issues for the past two years, but recently it just stopped working. I've tried factory resetting my Windows, but it still shows up as an unidentified network with no internet access. I have an ASRock B660 Pro RS motherboard. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this?

It sounds like a DHCP issue to me. Have you noticed any changes in how your device appears in your router's management interface? If it has a static IP setting, try unplugging it, removing those settings from your router, and resetting your network adapter settings on your PC. A quick restart after that could help before plugging it back in to see how it shows up this time.
First things first, have you checked if your Ethernet cable is still in good shape? If you can, try plugging it into a different computer. If that one also displays an "unidentified network" message, it usually indicates that there might be an issue with your router or switch not assigning an IP address.
I tried the cable on my laptop, and it worked fine!

I don't see it showing up on the router settings page, though.
