Hey everyone, I'm a first-time poster here. Recently, I've been facing some issues with our Dell Latitude laptops where the RAM usage is consistently around 90% or more, even when there are no applications running. We've checked for pending updates and nothing seems to add up with these high numbers. I even reached out to Dell support, but they redirected me to our local IT team, which wasn't very helpful. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any ideas on what might be causing it?

Have you checked if any Dell Optimizer or bloatware is installed? Sometimes those can really hog the system resources.
Do you have a spare laptop to test? I recommend wiping it down using the bare 25H2 ISO from Microsoft and see how the RAM behaves over a day or two. Most of the problematic machines we’ve had had 8GB of RAM. How much do your Latitudes have?
Yes, we swapped the user out with a new system and kept the old one. All the problematic laptops have 8GB.
What's the average RAM size on these systems? I've noticed that some of my Lenovo laptops with 16GB also have similar RAM usage. I’m starting to think Windows 11 isn't really optimized for that amount anymore.
Could be the Dell tech hub services causing the issue. You might want to disable those and see if it helps.

We usually only keep Dell Command or Support Assist on the machines and have been pretty diligent about uninstalling the rest.
