Hey everyone, I'm facing a frustrating Code 43 error on my HP Victus 16, which seems to be linked to the integrated graphics card on my AMD Ryzen 5 6600H processor. In Device Manager, there's an exclamation mark next to the integrated graphics. I've tried installing tons of updates, but nothing seems to fix the issue. I even took it to a tech service center, where they claimed to have updated the BIOS and ran Memtest without finding any issues. They didn't even open up the laptop fully but insisted that the processor is dead and that I'd need a new motherboard. Occasionally, the USB ports also stop working, and the laptop often freezes on the Victus logo. After a few restarts, it sometimes works enough to boot up with Microsoft Viewer.

It sounds like you're dealing with a driver issue, which may stem from a hardware malfunction. Code 43 typically means that the device (in this case, the iGPU) is reporting a problem. It's possible you have a partially faulty CPU since the integrated GPU is part of it. Hang in there, it's a tricky situation!

If the iGPU is showing Code 43 due to hardware issues, how can you tell if it's a partially failing CPU or a motherboard problem? Are there specific tests or signs you can look for that would hint at one over the other?
