I'm trying to figure out how to properly install my M.2 drives on the Gigabyte B650 Gaming motherboard. Specifically, I want to confirm whether the two M.2 slots below the CPU support NVMe Gen 4 and if the main M.2 slot closest to the CPU supports NVMe Gen 5. I need to place my Gen 4 and Gen 5 drives in the correct slots. I also can't seem to add images of my setup. Any help would be appreciated!

You're correct! The M.2 slot labeled M2A_CPU closest to the CPU supports both NVMe Gen 5 and Gen 4. The other two slots, M2B_CPU and socket 3, only support NVMe Gen 4. Check out page 9 of the motherboard manual for more details, I've got the link here if you need it: https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_b650-gaming-x-series_1502_e.pdf.
Just to clarify, all three slots do support Gen 4, but for optimal performance, you should use the M.2_1 slot for the fastest drive since it connects directly to the CPU. I noticed some conflicting information on the manufacturer's website, so just double-check the specs there.
But it says 1 PCIe 5.0? Which one is that?

Awesome thanks!
