Is there any information available regarding the release date of IAKerb for Windows? It seems like there's a lot of chatter, but I'd love to hear something concrete. If anyone from Microsoft, like Steve Syfuhs, has details, that would be great. Thanks in advance!

From what I’ve gathered, there’s been quite a bit of talk about IAKerb, especially from people suggesting that any good sysadmin should have disabled NTLM by now. The reality is, this isn’t so straightforward since IAKerb is still not generally available yet. It’s surprising that Microsoft hasn’t released it given they often roll out features that aren’t even fully tested. It’s a bit frustrating to see something like IAKerb being held up.

Exactly! I could turn off NTLM across the board without any major issues, but the problem is with those legacy apps that depend on hardcoded IPs and NETBIOS names. I'm really counting on my AppDev folks to update their systems so I can finally ditch NTLM in the remaining production environments.
