Upgraded My PC but Experiencing Stuttering and Texture Loading Issues – Any Ideas?

Hey all! I recently upgraded my gaming rig with a Ryzen 5 5600G, an RTX 3050 with 6GB of VRAM, and 16GB of RAM. Most of my games run smoothly with good FPS, but I'm facing frustrating issues in certain titles. For instance, in Warzone, textures take ages to load, and sometimes weapons don't show up at all. Fortnite is even worse, with a lot of stuttering and frequent freezes. I've tried pretty much everything from updating drivers to tweaking settings and reinstalling games, but nothing seems to work. When I monitor the system with MSI Afterburner, I noticed that both my CPU and GPU usage drop to 0% during these stutters and freezes. I'm really at a loss here and would appreciate any help or suggestions you might have. Thanks in advance!

Have you checked your VRAM usage? Texture loading issues often happen when VRAM is maxed out. With only 6GB, you might be running into problems with some modern games. If VRAM fills up, the game switches to using system RAM, which is way slower and can cause stuttering. Trying to lower the texture settings might help alleviate some of the problems you're facing.

Yeah, my VRAM usage didn't exceed 2GB while playing, and my RAM stayed stable around 4GB.

Do you have an SSD or just a hard drive? I know that loading textures can really slow down if you're running on an HDD. If you have both, it might be worth trying to install the games on the SSD to see if that helps any.

I actually tried both! I installed the games on both the SSD and HDD, but the issues still persist.
