I'm currently using an NVIDIA 3060 Founders Edition and want to upgrade my GPU. I'm considering the 5060 and 5070 models since they're relatively affordable and supposedly provide a significant performance boost compared to the 3060. I can find guides on how to physically swap the GPUs, but I'm curious if there's anything else I should change or upgrade in my PC setup. I'm looking for the best value for my money, and I would greatly appreciate any insights! Here are my current PC specs: AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 3.5 GHz, NZXT Kraken Z63 Cooler, Asus ROG STRIX X470-F Motherboard, G.Skill Trident Z 32 GB RAM, Samsung 980 1 TB NVMe SSD (x2), NZXT H510 Elite Case, and a Thermaltake Toughpower GX2 600W PSU.

If you're going for the 5060, it should fit in nicely without any major issues since it uses the same power connector and actually consumes less power than your current 3060 Ti. However, if you want the 5070, keep in mind that your 600W power supply isn't sufficient. You’d need a new PSU since the 5070 has higher minimum requirements, plus it comes with a different power connector.
Thanks for the heads up! Do you think upgrading to a new PSU for the 5070 is worth it? I'm fine with the extra cost if it really improves performance, but I don’t want to waste money if it's only going to give me a tiny FPS boost.
