Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC and need some recommendations for a cooler to use with my Ryzen 5 9600X. My current setup includes a B650 D3HP motherboard, 32GB of 6000MHz RAM, and a 650W power supply. The cooler I've got now is an Alphagear, but it's super noisy even when I'm just playing CS2. Also, I'd love to know if you think an RTX 3060 Ti with 8GB is sufficient for modern gaming.

The 8GB on the 3060 Ti can be a bit limiting. It's definitely capable of running most games, but you might need to lower some settings or utilize DLSS, especially for competitive or less demanding titles. For the cooler, since the 9600X doesn’t draw a lot of power, pretty much any aftermarket cooler will do, especially if you're looking for quiet operation. I recommend options like the Thermalright Peerless Assassin or ID-Cooling A620 Pro SE. Even a budget cooler should work well for you!
For the cooler, I’d suggest the Phantom Spirit 120 SE, it's a solid choice! As for the 3060 Ti, it really depends on the games you play. For less demanding ones, you should be fine!
Do you actually use the Phantom Spirit 120 SE? How's it performing?
You can never go wrong with a Peerless Assassin! As for the 3060 Ti, it should handle things okay as long as you're not diving into really demanding games. If you're playing CS2 and Warzone, it sounds like it'll work if you're keeping reasonable settings in mind.
I'm specifically looking to play CS2 and Warzone. Post-update, I had to tweak my setup to pull over 200fps since my old i5 10400F with a 1650 was barely cracking 150fps on medium-high.

Mine sounds like a freezer too! Do you think my cooler is malfunctioning?
