I'm currently using an RTX 2070 and I'm looking to upgrade my GPU. My CPU is an i7 9700KF and I want to make sure I avoid any bottlenecking. Can anyone recommend a suitable GPU upgrade for playing newer games like Stalker 2 and GTA 6?

If you're considering the 4070, keep in mind that the i7 9700KF might bottleneck in some scenarios, especially at lower resolutions. The VRAM might also be a concern, so the 9600 XT 16GB would be better for 1080p and 1440p gaming if that's your sweet spot.

If you're planning to play GTA 6, I'd recommend not going below the RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB. Also, steer clear of the 50 series unless you don't care about older game support. Look for an AMD CPU upgrade if your budget allows; the combination of an AMD CPU with an Nvidia 40 series GPU is a real powerhouse.

Honestly, you're probably still going to hit a bottleneck in certain games unless you're going all out with 4K and a less powerful GPU. Even with something like the RTX 3080, you might feel it at 1440p. If you're eyeing the 9600 XT 16GB, that could be a solid choice that balances performance nicely without overthinking it.

What resolution are you gaming at? If you're on Full HD and aiming for 240Hz, you'll want something powerful enough for those newer titles. The RTX 2070 can struggle with the latest games, so it's good you're considering an upgrade.

Yeah, I play at Full HD too and I feel the 2070 isn't enough for titles like that anymore. I'm also looking for an upgrade!
