I'm running Ubuntu Cinnamon on an Alienware Aurora R16 and want to install Debian instead. Secure Boot is disabled, the USB was prepared using GPT, and I've tried multiple USB creation tools and different ports on both the front and rear of the computer. I've successfully booted from USB on this PC before, but the installer drive no longer appears in the UEFI boot priority list or the one-time boot menu. What could prevent the USB from being detected?

Check the firmware setup directly and review the boot configuration and boot priority. You can also try the one-time boot menu, usually opened with F12 during startup, and look for the USB under UEFI boot devices. Since the drive is not appearing there at all, verify that the installer was created as a bootable UEFI drive rather than only formatted as GPT.
I’ve already checked the boot priority and used the F12 menu, but the USB does not appear in either location.
