I'm considering whether to buy a used MacBook Pro or a MacBook Neo. I can't afford a brand new MacBook Pro; my budget is limited to the price of a MacBook Neo or lower. I'm currently using a Chromebook and would like to upgrade. I also want to know if the MacBook Neo can run Java Minecraft straight from their site, and if it can at least support Linux.

Could you share a bit more about how you plan to use the laptop? But honestly, if you're looking at a used MacBook Pro for under $700, I think you're better off with the MacBook Neo. It should meet your needs well, especially for schoolwork, gaming, and coding.
I mainly need it for school, playing Roblox and Minecraft, and some coding. I'm really hoping to run Java Minecraft on it.
