Using One Mouse and Keyboard for Both Laptop and Desktop

I'm looking for a way to use my laptop and desktop with a single mouse and keyboard. Ideally, I want to connect my laptop via its Thunderbolt port with just one cable. Is there a way to seamlessly control both devices with this setup? Additionally, I'm curious if I can transfer files back and forth between them and sync my clipboard for easy copying and pasting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've had great experiences with both MouseWithoutBorders and Parsec. They allow file transfers and clipboard sharing, making your workflow much smoother between the two devices!

Definitely! Having clipboard sync makes copying and pasting between devices super easy.

Check out Deskflow; it's designed specifically for connecting multiple devices like yours, allowing you to use one mouse and keyboard across both your desktop and laptop.

If you have a Logitech MX Keys keyboard and an MX mouse, you're in luck! They can connect to up to three different devices at once, which makes switching between your laptop and desktop a breeze.

Another option is using a remote desktop app like RustDesk. After installing it on both machines, you can control one from the other. Just minimize the window to switch back when needed!

For a hassle-free experience, try using MouseWithoutBorders along with a Logitech MX series setup. It makes sharing controls between devices super simple!

I second that! You can easily move files and share your clipboard with MouseWithoutBorders.
