Hey everyone! I manage M365 Apps for a large organization with over 40,000 devices, and we're on the Monthly Enterprise Channel using Cloud Updates for managing our updates. We have four update waves set up. The first wave rolled out as expected on February 10th, though it was a bit delayed.
My device, which is part of the first wave, received the update early on February 11th, bringing me to Version 2512 Build 19530.20226. However, today on February 12th, I noticed something strange. After stepping away from my locked PC for just five minutes, when I returned, all my Office apps were closed. Upon reopening them, an update was pending, but after installing it, my build version remained unchanged.
When I checked the updates folder, I found one for the original update from yesterday and another today that looked like just a DLL dump. Oddly, there's no mention of this on the Release Notes page, and others in the first wave are experiencing the same issue. Has anyone else encountered something like this? Thanks!

I've been seeing similar update issues on my end as well. It's definitely not just you!
I've noticed the same thing—my programs close unexpectedly and then require relaunching after I lock my machine. Feels like some kind of secret Microsoft fix is being rolled out without us knowing!
Is it mainly affecting Office apps like Outlook or Word for you or are other Microsoft products acting weird too?

Thanks for sharing! I’ll keep an eye on it to see if it continues.
