What AIO cooler should I get for a new PC build?

I'm starting my first PC build and would prefer an all-in-one liquid cooler instead of a large tower-style air cooler. I'm not working with a strict budget, but I want something reliable that won't develop annoying pump or noise problems. I haven't chosen a case yet, so I can select one based on whichever radiator size is recommended. What AIO models and radiator sizes should I consider?

MSI’s MAG CoreLiquid A15 360 is worth considering too. A 360 mm radiator should keep a high-end processor very cool, but you’ll need a case with enough room at the top or front. Since you haven’t bought the case yet, check radiator clearance, GPU length, and motherboard compatibility together.

NZXT AIOs have been reliable in my experience, including units that ran for several years. The control software used to be frustrating, but the hardware itself held up well. Whichever model you choose, remember that every liquid cooler has a pump and eventually has more potential failure points than a quality air cooler.

The Corsair Nautilus RS is another excellent choice for current AMD CPUs and performs near the top without being dramatically more expensive. Other good alternatives include the Lian Li Galahad II Lite Performance and newer NZXT Kraken models.

The Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro is a strong option, especially in 240 mm or 360 mm sizes depending on your case. It’s generally well regarded, though make sure the case supports its thicker radiator and fans.

Be careful about assuming that the biggest radiator is automatically best. Performance can vary by processor generation and fan tuning, so look at reviews for your exact CPU. For most mainstream chips, a good 240 mm unit is enough; a 360 mm model makes more sense for hotter high-end processors or if you want lower fan speeds.
