What are my options for getting internet while living with my parents?

I'm 18 and still living at home with my parents, but I'm trying to become fully independent. I've been looking into getting my own internet service, but it's proving to be a challenge. My parents have their own Breezeline service, and when I've called around, they say I can't get another internet connection because there's already one in the house. What alternatives do I have to get internet on my own?

If you explain to your internet provider that you need a second connection, they might be willing to set it up. I have both AT&T and Spectrum at my place for backup while working from home, and they helped me navigate that with no issues. It's worth a shot!
