I've been experiencing some lag on my computer recently, and I'm looking for cost-effective ways to enhance its performance. I'm not sure whether I should invest in a better CPU cooler, a new CPU, or if there are other optimizations I can make. Any tips or advice would be appreciated! Here are my specs: I'm using an ASUS system with Windows 11, an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, 32 GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. I've also got several storage options including an NVME SSD. What should I focus on for the best results without breaking the bank?

Upgrading to a Ryzen 5 5600X or 5700X could give you a significant boost. Make sure your RAM is properly configured for 3200 or 3600MHz. Also, ensure that Windows is updated to the latest 25H2 version and that your OS and games are installed on the NVME SSD instead of the slower drives. Don't forget to update your drivers and BIOS! While the 5700X3D would be the ultimate upgrade, the 5600X or 5700X is still a major improvement for an affordable price.

Could I upgrade to a Ryzen 7, or do I have to stick with the Ryzen 5?
