Hey folks, I'm looking to move away from Microsoft services for my personal email, particularly from Exchange Online. While it's a solid service, I'm getting tired of paying for it, and I feel it's become a bit bloated. I'm also not a fan of Google Workspace for similar reasons. I'm using a custom domain and would love to hear what other email hosting services you guys recommend. I've considered Fastmail and Mailbox.org, but I'm not seeing many options that are budget-friendly. Additionally, I'm not interested in self-hosting again. Any suggestions or horror stories to avoid? Thanks in advance!

Fastmail is a solid pick if you can get past the US data center issue. I've had a good experience with it overall.
Proton Mail is another option I've been happy with. Good privacy features, and they have useful migration tools.
I opted for iCloud email since I already pay for it. It's decent, but if you're using non-Apple clients, anti-spam features can vary. Just a heads up!
You could always go for a Linux shared hosting platform; they usually include email services. You'll likely get more spam, but it’s an option if you don’t mind it.
I currently use Zoho Mail for my parents and it works just fine. Definitely worth a look!
Will give it a look, thanks!

I’ve got a buddy on Proton, will check it out. Thanks!
