I'm exploring Linux options and have tried Mint Cinnamon, Fedora, and Zorin OS, but none of them really clicked with me. I'm looking for recommendations for good Linux distributions that work well on a low-end PC. Here are my specs: Intel Core i5-6440HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz, AMD Radeon R7 m360 graphics card, and 8GB of RAM. I'd love a customizable distro that supports everyday productivity and is suitable for coding too! Any suggestions?

If you're coding, Pop!_OS might be a good fit since it's tailored for developers and has great support for various programming environments. Plus, it provides a unique user experience that many find appealing.

CodingNinja42: I just checked that out through a compatibility site, and it seems to recommend it for my setup!

You might also want to look into Xubuntu. It's another lightweight option with a decent amount of flexibility, and the XFCE desktop environment is easy to navigate, especially coming from Windows.

Have you tried Nobara? It's built on Fedora but streamlines a lot of the complex setup, making it easier for new users. It's customizable like you're looking for, and it performs well on lower-end machines.

It's great that you're exploring Linux! You might want to consider giving Linux Lite or Lubuntu a try. Both are lightweight and designed for low-end hardware. They also allow for customization, so you can tweak them to your liking.

UserFan2023: I've used Lubuntu and had a smooth experience. It's definitely user-friendly!
