I'm planning to upgrade my PC over the next few months, focusing on individual components. I've decided to go with a Ryzen 9 9800X3D processor and an RTX 5090 graphics card. My primary use will be gaming on a three-monitor setup and VR, with no interest in editing or streaming. I need recommendations for a motherboard that can handle 4 to 5 M.2 SSDs without lane sharing if possible. I don't necessarily need a budget-friendly option, but I'm also not looking to spend top dollar on something like the MSI Godlike unless it's truly worth it.

If you're not looking to break the bank on a motherboard while still getting good features, I'd suggest the B850 Tomahawk Max Wifi. It supports up to 4 M.2 SSDs which should fit your needs nicely!

I'm open to spending a bit more than a budget board, but my main focus is on prioritizing the GPU and CPU first. I just wonder if a high-end board like the Godlike is really necessary, especially for gaming and SSD space.
