What are the Best GPUs Right Now for 1-2k Budget?

I'm looking to build a gaming PC after many years, and I need some help finding the best GPUs available right now. My budget is between $1,000 and $2,000. I primarily game on a 65" 4K TV, and I'm interested in high-end games with substantial hardware needs. I understand benchmarks might vary, but any up-to-date recommendations would be appreciated. For your budget and 4K gaming, I’d recommend going with the 5090, 4090, or 5080. They are top-tier choices right now. If you consider AMD, the 9070 XT is a solid pick, but it’s more like a 5070 Ti in performance, and I think you should aim higher with your budget.

Just a heads up, if you find a 5090 for about 3k euros ($3,500), that does seem steep. It might be worth looking around for better deals, especially since prices can vary a lot from one place to another!

The 5090 is the reigning champ priced at around $2,000 MSRP, and it's definitely the best option out there. If that's too high, check out the 5080 or the 4090 if you can find one under $2k.
