I'm on the lookout for one or multiple hardware vendors in the US, focusing mainly on laptops and occasionally desktops. I'm also interested in finding suppliers for minor items like home networking equipment and adapters. Any recommendations or reviews would be greatly appreciated!

I typically use Amazon for most purchases since they tend to be the cheapest. However, B&H has been my go-to for reliability. I’ve found that CDW can be pricier but reliable. Just a heads up, I've had some issues with Amazon in the past where I ended up with refurbished laptops that weren't properly cleaned, so I get the concern about wanting a dedicated IT vendor.

For desktops and laptops, I've had luck with Lenovo, and I sometimes go through CDW for other items like monitors. Interestingly, I've found CDW's pricing on those to be better than Amazon's lately.

Frankie_Reviews: I totally agree, I’d prefer to avoid Amazon too. I've bought used systems on eBay with more luck than with Amazon; they tend to be more trustworthy for me.
