I'm on the lookout for one or multiple hardware vendors in the US, focusing mainly on laptops and occasionally desktops. I'm also interested in finding suppliers for minor items like home networking equipment and adapters. Any recommendations or reviews would be greatly appreciated!

I've had a great experience with Lenovo for both laptops and desktops. They offer solid performance and reliability.
Dell is another solid choice, especially for both laptops and servers. Their warranty support is top-notch, which can be a lifesaver.
For desktops and laptops, I've had luck with Lenovo, and I sometimes go through CDW for other items like monitors. Interestingly, I've found CDW's pricing on those to be better than Amazon's lately.
I’m currently on the hunt for extra monitors myself. I'll definitely look into CDW!
When it comes to more specialized needs, consider vendors like Ingram and tdsynnex. They're great for enterprise solutions, though you'll often find yourself using a mix of vendors in any case.
I typically use Amazon for most purchases since they tend to be the cheapest. However, B&H has been my go-to for reliability. I’ve found that CDW can be pricier but reliable. Just a heads up, I've had some issues with Amazon in the past where I ended up with refurbished laptops that weren't properly cleaned, so I get the concern about wanting a dedicated IT vendor.
I totally agree, I’d prefer to avoid Amazon too. I've bought used systems on eBay with more luck than with Amazon; they tend to be more trustworthy for me.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards them too. Just wish I didn't have to juggle multiple vendors for different brands.
