What are the best ways to package a Python app as an Android APK?

I have a Python script and want to turn it into an Android APK, preferably from Windows or another operating system. Is there a tool similar to PyInstaller that supports packaging Python applications for Android?
Answers
PyInstaller is intended for desktop executables and does not build Android APKs. For Android, look into Kivy with Buildozer, or use Python-for-Android directly. Buildozer is commonly run on Linux, though Windows users can use WSL or a virtual machine.

Kivy is a popular choice when you want to create a Python-based mobile interface. Other options include BeeWare with Briefcase, which packages supported Python applications for Android and other platforms.
