I'm running Windows 11 and added a secondary 2 TB NVMe SSD about a year after installing Windows 11 on my primary 4 TB drive. The secondary drive now contains many randomly named folders made up of two letters, and each appears to contain a similar collection of Windows-related files. What created these directories, and is it safe to remove them?

The folders may have been left behind by an installer, upgrade, or update rather than being normal files required by the secondary drive itself.
