What can I do to speed up my Windows 11 laptop?

I have a Windows 11 laptop with 8GB of RAM and two drives; a 250GB one and a 500GB HDD. I try to keep only a few programs open, but it still lags occasionally. I've already tried reducing animations, using Disk Cleanup, and deleting restore points. I'm curious about what else I can do to improve performance. I heard that disabling AI features might help, but I'm not sure if that's true. Any suggestions?

Upgrading your HDD to an SSD or NVMe can make a huge difference in speed. I also suggest increasing your RAM to at least 16GB, preferably 32GB if your setup allows it. This will really help with multitasking!

Definitely consider replacing your HDD with an SSD. As for the AI features, they don’t consume much power unless actively used, so you wouldn't gain much by disabling them. Just focus on hardware upgrades!

Thanks for the advice! I'm definitely leaning toward an SSD upgrade.
