I just turned on my TV and noticed it makes this strange buzzing noise. I'm not sure what's wrong with it, and as a student, I really can't afford to buy a new one. Can anyone help me figure out what the problem might be?

There could be several reasons for that buzzing sound. It might be something called 'coil whine', damaged speakers, or even electrical interference. It’s tough to pinpoint without more details. How loud is the buzzing? Does it come from the speakers or another area of the TV? Do you have a recording of the sound?
If the buzzing is quite quiet, it's possible it's not speaker-related. Sometimes, electrical components inside the TV can create those sounds as well. If you've got a recording, that could really help narrow it down!
