What CPU Should I Consider for My ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E Gaming WiFi Motherboard?

I recently purchased the ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E Gaming WiFi motherboard as part of my gradual PC build. I'm now looking to buy the main components, including a processor that has integrated graphics for the time being, a CPU cooler (not sure if I prefer liquid or air cooling), and DDR5 RAM since I already have a 1TB M.2 SSD and a case. Can anyone suggest good options for the CPU and cooling? Also, is my order of purchasing correct?

Typically, the order of purchase isn't crucial since you need all the components to use your PC anyway. But it's kinda unusual to buy the motherboard first without a plan for the CPU. It's best to think of the CPU and motherboard together since they'll need to be compatible.
