What do I need to connect my 3-pin Noctua fan externally?

I'm looking for an external connector or adapter for my 3-pin Noctua fan. I've tried searching online, but I keep ordering the wrong things. I want to use a 12V PC fan, possibly the NF-S12-800, but I'm not sure what the specific connector is called. Some sources say it's a JST 2.54mm, but the products I received don't fit, and I don't want to damage the original connector. Any help would be appreciated!

Could you upload a picture of your connector or specify the fan model? That would help a lot in identifying the right adapter for you. You can use Imgur for uploading images!

I have the NF-S12-800, but I'm not sure if they're all the same. I mostly use this one.

What exactly are you trying to connect it to? I’m a bit confused about your goal. If it’s just about getting it running, cutting off the connector might be an easier solution instead of searching for an adapter. You might want to check out KK connectors from Molex; they could work for your needs.

I actually need a quiet fan connected to a 12V DC adapter to create airflow for hatching eggs.
