What FPS can I expect from an RX 6600 and i3-10105F at 1080p?

I'm planning to upgrade from a GT 1030 to an RX 6600 and want to know roughly what kind of performance I can expect in 1080p competitive games such as Rainbow Six Siege, Valorant, and Fortnite. My current CPU is an i3-10105F, so I'm also wondering whether it will significantly limit the new graphics card.

The RX 6600 is a huge upgrade over the GT 1030โroughly several times faster. At 1080p in competitive settings, it should handle Valorant and Siege at high frame rates, while Fortnite will depend more heavily on your settings and whether you use Performance Mode. The i3-10105F may become the limiting factor, especially if youโre aiming for very high refresh rates, but the upgrade should still be a major improvement.

Your exact FPS will vary with graphics settings, map, background apps, and RAM configuration, so benchmark videos using the same CPU and GPU are the best reference. As a rough expectation, Valorant could comfortably exceed 200 FPS, Siege may land around the high hundreds on competitive settings, and Fortnite could range from roughly 100โ200 FPS depending on the mode and settings. Expect lower minimums when the CPU is under load.

The graphics card should be a good match for 1080p, but the four-core i3 will hold it back in some games. You donโt necessarily need to replace the CPU immediately; use the RX 6600 first and check your GPU and CPU usage. If the GPU is sitting well below full usage while the frame rate or 1% lows are disappointing, then consider a compatible six-core upgrade later, such as a used i5-10400, i5-11400, or i5-11600K if your motherboard supports it.

MellowPine42: Thatโs the kind of estimate I was looking for. Iโm mainly trying to get smooth 1080p performance rather than max out an extremely high-refresh monitor.
