I'm planning to upgrade from a GT 1030 to an RX 6600 while keeping my i3-10105F. At 1080p, what kind of frame rates should I roughly expect in competitive games such as Rainbow Six Siege, Valorant, and Fortnite? I'm especially interested in performance-focused settings, and I'm wondering whether older benchmarks are still accurate since some of these games have received graphics updates.

Older benchmark videos can still provide a rough idea, but they may not perfectly match current performance because game updates, drivers, and changed settings can affect results. Expect some variation, especially in Siege and Fortnite, but the RX 6600 should handle 1080p competitive gaming very well.

MellowCedar47: That makes sense. I was mainly concerned that updates had made those benchmark results outdated, but a rough estimate is still helpful.

With performance-oriented settings, you should generally be in the 250โ€“300 FPS range in games like Valorant and Fortnite, and potentially higher depending on the map, game mode, and settings. The RX 6600 is a substantial upgrade from the GT 1030, although your i3-10105F may become the limiting factor at very high frame rates.
