What Games Can My New PC Run Without Issues?

I recently got a new pre-built PC featuring an RTX 5060, Ryzen 5500, 16GB of RAM, and a 250GB SSD. My first attempt at gaming was with Hogwarts Legacy, which is notorious for causing lag and stuttering. This experience has left me feeling uncertain about my PC's performance. I'm looking for recommendations on what games I can easily run on my setup. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

A few recommendations for you: try Detroit: Become Human, GTA V Enhanced Edition, Red Dead Redemption 2, Assetto Corsa Competizione, and Forza Horizon 5. Those should all run nicely on your setup!

You might enjoy the Resident Evil series! Those games are pretty well-optimized for performance.

You can check out System Requirements Lab; it's a handy tool to see if your PC can run specific games. Just remember, mid-range PCs usually struggle with poorly optimized titles, but you should be fine with medium settings on most modern games.

Hogwarts is one of the few games that can actually use more than 16GB of RAM. I recommend trying out games like Red Dead Redemption 2, The Witcher 3, or Cyberpunk 2077. If you encounter any stuttering, just lower some settings—especially the textures—as it could be VRAM issues.

You should be good to play most modern games! Hogwarts Legacy has a reputation for being poorly optimized. Just steer clear of a few titles known for issues. As long as you don't focus on those, your rig should handle plenty of games with ease.
