What GPU and CPU should I choose for maxed-out Cyberpunk 2077 streaming at 1080p60?

I'm planning a gaming and livestreaming build for Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p and 60 FPS with every setting maxed out, including high-resolution graphics mods and possibly path tracing. I'm currently considering an RTX 5070 Ti for its 16 GB of VRAM paired with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, along with 32 GB of DDR5-6000 memory and a compatible motherboard. However, prices are high, so I'm wondering whether a Radeon RX 9070 XT or another less expensive GPU would be sufficient. I've also seen suggestions for cards such as the RTX 4090 and CPUs including the Core i7-12700 or Core i5-13600K. Which GPU and CPU combination makes the most sense for this use case?

For the processor, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the strongest option among the CPUs you listed for this particular game. Recent updates made Cyberpunk much more CPU-intensive, especially in busy areas, so an X3D chip gives you better frame-time consistency and reduces the chance of a CPU bottleneck. The Intel alternatives can work, but I’d only choose one if the total platform cost is substantially lower.

If you want to use path tracing, I’d stick with the RTX 5070 Ti at minimum, and an RTX 5080 would give you more headroom. Cyberpunk is particularly demanding with Nvidia’s ray-tracing features, and the 5070 Ti also benefits from DLSS and Ray Reconstruction. Even at 1080p, max settings with path tracing can struggle to maintain a steady 60 FPS without upscaling or frame generation.

If you mean Ultra ray tracing without path tracing, the RX 9070 XT should be enough and would be a better value. A 9070 XT can deliver roughly 60–90 FPS at 1440p with maxed-out settings, some graphics mods, and path tracing disabled; frame generation can push the displayed frame rate higher. For true absolute-max settings, though, Nvidia is the safer choice.

That distinction is important. The Radeon card looks perfectly capable for regular ray tracing, but path tracing is where the Nvidia cards pull ahead.
