My used RX 6600 XT recently started showing artifacts and then stopped posting after about four months, so I need a replacement. My system has a Ryzen 5 5500, 32GB of Corsair Vengeance memory, a B550 motherboard, and a 650W power supply. I mainly play games at 1080p and also edit video for content creation. I'd prefer to spend less than $350 and would rather buy new with a warranty, though I'm open to a used card from a reputable seller with buyer protection or a return period. I've considered the RX 7600 and Arc B580, but I'm especially interested in AMD or Nvidia options. There's also a Micro Center within driving distance if they have a worthwhile deal.

A used RTX 3080 could be worth hunting for if you can find one below $350 from a trustworthy seller. It offers strong 1080p performance and should handle editing well, but check its condition, power requirements, and return policy carefully.
Try to find a used RTX 3070 in the $200–$260 range. It’s still a strong card for 1080p gaming and editing, and it leaves room in the budget for a better deal or extra storage. An RTX 4060 Ti could also make sense if you find one priced competitively.
For video editing, Nvidia is probably the safer choice in this price range because NVENC can make exporting and encoding much faster. A new RTX 4060 around $300 would give you a warranty and solid 1080p performance, while a used RTX 3070 or 3080 could offer more raw performance if you’re comfortable buying used.

That’s helpful—hardware encoding for editing is one of the main reasons I’m considering Nvidia.
