What GPU should I get for my Ryzen 5 5600X to maximize FPS?

I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 5600X paired with an RTX 3060. Most of my games run at around 70 FPS on medium settings, which is fine for single-player games, but I notice it struggles with higher quality settings. I'm considering upgrading to a 4070, but I'm worried about potential bottlenecking. Any advice on the best GPU to pair with my CPU for optimal performance?

You might want to look at the 9070 XT. It could have a slight bottleneck, maybe around 5%, but it should still be a fantastic match. Just keep in mind it largely depends on the types of games you play.

The 4070 or even the 5070 are great choices! You could push it to the 5070 Ti, but I'd recommend sticking around there for the best balance of performance and value.

What resolution are you gaming at? If it’s over 1080p, almost any card within your budget could work well for you.

Forget about being worried over bottlenecking! A 4070 would give you a solid performance boost. That said, if you’re on a 12GB model of the 3060, it might be fine to stick with it. Just check if your RAM or CPU could be holding you back in some games.
