I built this PC a few years ago and want to upgrade my graphics card, possibly along with my monitor. My budget is up to about €600, so I'm looking for the best value rather than an expensive high-end option. The system currently has an Intel Core i7-14700K, RTX 3060, ASUS Prime Z790-A WIFI motherboard, 32GB of DDR5-6000 memory, a 1TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe SSD, a be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5 cooler, an 850W be quiet! Pure Power 12 M power supply, and a Pure Base 500DX case. What GPU would give me a worthwhile performance improvement, and should I consider changing the monitor too?

A Radeon RX 9070 would also be worth considering if you can find one near €600, but current pricing may put it over budget. I’d compare real local prices rather than stretching for it, since the midrange 16GB cards are more realistic choices at your spending limit.
Set the budget first, then choose the fastest card that fits it. A Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB or GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB should offer a noticeable improvement over the RTX 3060 and leave room in the budget for a monitor if you find a good deal. Your 850W power supply is more than adequate for cards in this range.
The RTX 3060 is clearly the part holding the system back, so upgrading the GPU should be your priority. With a maximum of €600, look at a 16GB RTX 5060 Ti or RX 9060 XT, depending on local pricing and whether you prefer features like DLSS or the extra value from Radeon. Either would be a sensible step up without needing to replace the rest of the PC.
