What graphics card can I upgrade to on a 250W power supply?

I'm working with a basic office PC that has a Ryzen 3 2200GE, an AMD B350 motherboard, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 250W power supply. I'm looking to find the best graphics card I can install without needing to swap out the power supply. I'm planning to upgrade to a better power supply and a Ryzen 5 4500 in the near future, but for now, what's my best option?

I’d recommend upgrading your power supply first. That way, you can get a significantly better graphics card later on. If you're looking for a new CPU as well, consider going for either the Ryzen 5 5500 or Ryzen 5 3600 for a noticeable boost.

With just a 250W power supply, your options are pretty limited. The GTX 1650 and RTX 3050 6GB are about your only choices. However, both of these cards aren’t great overall. Since you plan to upgrade your power supply soon, it might be smarter to hold off on a GPU upgrade until then.

250W is quite low, so your best bet is the RTX 3050 6GB. However, it’s really better to just upgrade your power supply first. That will open up many more options and you’ll find much better deals.
