I'm looking for recommendations on thermal paste for my Ryzen 5 7600X. I'm not very knowledgeable about thermal pastes, so I'd appreciate suggestions for good brands or types that I should consider.

You really don't have to overthink this. The Ryzen 5 7600X doesn't draw more than 90W, so almost any modern thermal paste will do the trick. Brands like Arctic MX-6 are solid options, and you can find a tube for about $4-$6. If you're feeling generous, a 20G tub can be grabbed for around $10 and will last you a while!

From my experience, the PTM 7950 worked well on my CPU. I noticed good temps, but the mounting technique is also super important! Make sure to apply it in a star pattern for even spread.

Honestly, just use whatever comes with your CPU cooler. The performance difference between that and premium pastes is only a degree or two, and that's not something you'll notice in most cases.
