I recently did a fresh install of Windows and noticed something strange in the 'Bluetooth & devices' section. While my mouse, keyboard, controller, and monitor all show up fine, there's also something labeled 'USB Root Hub (USB 3.0)' listed under 'Other devices'. I have my Corsair iCUE system hub (fan controller) connected, but I'm not sure what this USB Root Hub is since the only USB hubs I have are built into the motherboard. Is there any way to diagnose what this device is? I've never seen it appear in this context before.

That's totally normal! The USB Root Hub showing up is just your motherboard's built-in USB hubs. It happens with most setups. I've got the same thing on mine, and it doesn't cause any issues.
It's perfectly fine! Your motherboard has its own USB hubs which are why you're seeing them. But if you're concerned about how your iCUE software is interacting with it, that makes sense. iCUE has been known to act up sometimes, especially with driver issues.
Yeah, I understand wanting to troubleshoot. Sometimes iCUE doesn't use the right drivers and ends up showing as a generic device. It's worth checking in Device Manager just to be sure.
I see it too, but it's unusual. I've never seen those internal hubs listed in this section of Windows before. I usually check in Device Manager for all my USB hubs.
