What Linux Distro Should I Choose for My University Laptop?

I'm currently using Nobara on my desktop and really love it! However, I need to replace Windows on a laptop I got for university. I'm not studying anything IT-related (I'm in chemistry), so I doubt my university will specifically require Windows. I'm considering Ubuntu or Fedora as potential Linux distributions but I'm unsure which one would be the best fit for my needs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'd recommend either Kubuntu or Fedora KDE. Fedora KDE would be the closest to Nobara since Nobara is based on Fedora. Plus, if you find yourself needing Windows for any software for college, consider setting up a Windows virtual machine. College can be unpredictable with the software requirements, after all!
